Changes to the Board of Directors of BPT Asset Management A/S
4 February 2009
Søren Johansen will take up the
position as new chairman of the board in BPT Asset Management A/S,
as Henning Kruse Pedersen has chosen to withdraw from this position
in BPT Asset Management A/S as of the 1st February 2009.
Recently Henning Kruse Pedersen became
involved with the financial rescue package from the Danish
Government by accepting the position as chairman of the board in
the Danish Winding-Up Company for Guarantee of Finance Stability
A/S and is furthermore elected as chairman of the board in Roskilde
Bank. The above mentioned positions may potentially provide
conflicts of interests in relation to the new BPT product,
Søren Johansen, who is the managing
partner in the Danish law firm, Kromann Reumert, has until now held
the position as deputy chairman in BPT Asset Management A/S.
Therefore this change will have no impact on the BPT Asset
Management A/S strategy and by appointing Søren Johansen the new
chairman of the board, the continuity is also preserved.
At the same time the board of directors
and the company take the opportunity to express sincere thanks to
Henning Kruse Pedersen for the great commitment and hard work that
he has provided to the company.
The board of directors is now composed
of Søren Johansen (Chairman), Finn Moefelt (Deputy Chairman) and
Lars Ohnemus (Board Member).
