BPT Arista A/S has closed another
transaction with the acquisition of 8,000 sq m retail centre in
Moscow - Arcada Stroy. The property is located on the Moscow Ring
Road (MKAD) at marker 71 km. It has an excellent accessibility and
visibility from the MKAD with a traffic count of over 5,000
vehicles per hour and is located within a large primary catchment
area. The property opened in December 2005 and is currently fully
let on a 10 year lease to a well-known Russian retailer. The
acquisition was secured at a yield that is well above the fund's
target initial yield of 11%.
Fund Manager Vojkan Brankovic comments
on the acquisition: "We are delighted to have secured such a high
yielding freehold property in Moscow and believe that the property
is going to gain significantly from the large residential and
office developments in the surrounding area."
